FC Dallas started well and were soon ahead as Urruit scored in the twenty-third minute of the game. FC Dallas went two up before half time as Mauro Diaz hit home in the forty-first minute. The second half Dallas sat back and enjoyed their lead, and it wasn’t until the dying seconds that Chicago Fire managed to break Dallas down as Arturo Alvarez scored in added time. This spurred Dallas backup and no sooner had the game restarted than up popped Mauro Rosales to regain their two goal lead. Next up Colorado Rapids, a team that is on form and a team they have to beat to open up a six-point gap between them.
